When you rent the barn at Seattle Paddle Club for a private event, the space is set up around your plans — design it your way and create an event that reflects your style. Your gathering shares the barn with our working paddle club, which is part of its charm; if you want the space entirely to yourselves, a full shutdown and paddle board clear-out can be added for $3,000.

Weddings are the exception: for your wedding day we shut down paddle operations and clear the boards out entirely — the whole barn is yours, and that's built into every wedding package.

From team gatherings to milestone celebrations, Seattle Paddle Club provides a flexible barn venue that can be transformed for your event. The space works well for groups looking for something different from a traditional event venue.

Corporate rentals are offered as a package: the barn plus the building's private offices as breakout and meeting rooms, with Wi-Fi, coffee, and A/V included — main session on the water, small groups in real rooms.

Full rate card

Peak season is May–September; off-peak is October–April. Wedding packages include a full shutdown of paddle operations; for all other events the barn hosts you alongside the working paddle club, with a full shutdown available as an add-on.

Common questions

What types of events can I host?

Almost anything. Seattle Paddle Club is available for weddings, corporate events, private parties, celebrations, and gatherings of all kinds.

Do I get the whole space for my event?

For weddings, yes — we shut down paddle operations and clear the boards out entirely, so the whole barn is yours; that's built into every wedding package. Other events share the barn with our working paddle club. If you'd like the space entirely to yourselves, a full shutdown and clear-out can be added for $3,000.

Who handles catering?

Saint Bread — the bakery right next door on the wharf — holds first right of refusal on catering for barn events. If they pass on your date or menu, you're welcome to bring in the caterer of your choice. We don't operate in-house catering ourselves.

Can we include paddle boarding at our event?

Yes. Paddle board rentals can be added to your event at our standard rental rates — boards, paddles, and PFDs provided, with signed waivers.

How much does it cost?

Private events start at $1,000 for a half day in the barn. Wedding packages — which include a full day and a half of venue time plus a complete shutdown of paddle operations — start at $6,500. Corporate packages combine the barn and office space in one rate. Full details are in the rate card above, and every quote is confirmed after a quick call about your date and plans.

What if it rains?

The barn is fully covered, so your event is protected rain or shine.

Can we use the office space during our event?

Yes — office space can be added to any rental as a green room, prep suite, or breakout space at Clipper CoWorks' standard rates ($225/hr, $800 half day, $1,450 full day, $1,300 evening buyout), and it's included with corporate packages.
